Material
Jomas tie rods are made of stainless steel for best corrosion resistance. All tie rods are made in EN 1.4401, stainless steel, corrosion resistance R1. Tie rod no. 15, 16 and 17 are also available in 1.4301, stainless steel, corrosion resistance R3.
Tie rods
A cavity wall is exposed to influences of particular wind load. Therefore, a cavity wall always has to be anchored to the underlying frame.
