A warm thank you, Lise-Lotte
After 21 years of valuable contributions, it is now time to say thank you to a much-appreciated colleague who is moving on to a new chapter in life. Before we say goodbye, we took the opportunity to ask a few questions about her time with us – the memories, the journey, and what lies ahead.
When did your journey at Joma begin, and what will you take with you from your time here?
My journey at Joma started a bit by chance after a tip during a dog walk – and with the application deadline the very same day, it led to some quick decisions.
I take with me wonderful memories, lots of laughter, and great colleagues. Also, many pleasant and fun customer conversations over the years that have led to meaningful relationships.
How would you describe Joma as a workplace in three words?
Creative – New ideas are encouraged, and there is room to try new things.
Forward-thinking – A strong focus on development and continuous improvement.
Generous – There is real investment in employees, creating a sense of community through activities and good resources.
Do you have a particular memory that always makes you smile?
It’s hard to choose just one, but the harness racing trip to Gothenburg many years ago was truly special. The draw for who would be the driver added a fun twist – and I ended up with the losing ticket (or the winning one, depending on how you see it!).
If your career were a book, what would the title be?
“From Typewriter to AI” – a journey from more manual ways of working at the beginning of my career to today’s digital world, where I’ve had the chance to be part of rapid development and changing ways of working along the way.
What are you most looking forward to as a retiree?
Being at home and taking each day as it comes. Enjoying slow mornings without an alarm clock and not having to keep to schedules in the same way as before. Being able to fill my days with whatever feels right in the moment, at a calmer pace and with more freedom in everyday life.
